Dress comfortably. Arrive to your appointment with clean, makeup-free lashes. Please ensure you do not have any creams, oils, or serums on your face or near your eyes before your appointment. Lashes that have been previously lifted, permed, or manually curled are not ideal for the appointment. Avoid drinking caffeine before your appointment to avoid your eyes from twitching/fluttering. Ensure to use the restroom prior to your appointment to avoid interruptions. You are welcome to bring headphones to help you relax.
Your appointment length is based on the set you've chosen to have done along with the depth of your lash line. I always strive for 85-100% lash coverage. A Classic set can take up to 2 and a half hours. a Hybrid/Volume set can take up to 3 and a half hours, and a Mega Volume set can take up to 4 hours. Please schedule and plan your day with your appointment length in mind.
Lash extensions can last up to 4 weeks or with your natural growth cycle when applied correctly, along with good client aftercare. Our lash cycle consists of shedding at least 2-5 natural lashes daily. Several other factors may affect the longevity of the lash retention such as oily skin, makeup, how well aftercare is followed, hormonal imbalances, and medications. Refills are required every 2-3 weeks.
Not at all! Lash extensions are safe when applied by a certified and experienced lash artist. I ensure to isolate and lash every natural lash with your lash health in mind as my #1 priority, with gorgeous results to follow.
As I tell every one of my beauties, the cleaner you keep them, the longer they'll last! Ensure to wash and cleanse your lashes every morning and before bed, dry, and brush them regularly throughout your day with the provided spoolie brush. Do not use any cotton balls, wipes, or Q-tips on your lashes, the lint will pull the lash extension and cause the lashes to snag and possibly pull them right off. Avoid any makeup, removers, or creams near the eye that contain any oils, they will break down the adhesive, greatly affect your lash retention, and cause premature lash fallout. Avoid applying makeup on the lash line. Mascara is a BIG NO. Try to sleep on your back to avoid friction between your pillow and your lashes. Do not pick, pull, or rub your lashes. Every client will receive an aftercare kit as I go over aftercare instructions.
